Sara Perlmutter is a Registered Dietitian (for 8 years) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDs). She started her career working with college students, individuals with traumatic brain injuries and patients transitioning from the hospital to home. For the past four years, Sara has worked solely with patients (adults and children) suffering from eating disorders at ITU, IP, RES, PHP, IOP and VIOP levels of care. As a non-diet dietitian, Sara will work with you to build a positive relationship with food and your body. Sara understands you are unique, and will help you establish personalized strategies to meet your goals.

Sara is compassionate, caring and warm. She is an active, empathetic listener who will make you feel supported and heard. Sara believes eating within the context of your life can be simple. She will work with you to find practical solutions to ensure YOU can meet your goals in the context of your life.

She will prioritize getting to know you and your needs via detailed questions about your lifestyle, nutrition habits, health history and more. She will prioritize urgent questions and will set an action plan with you to ensure follow up sessions meet your needs and goals.
