About
Amy
Affectionately known as "Zen Amy" with my presence, openness, ability to listen and gentle guidance, I've been providing nutrition education and serving clients for almost 20 years. With creativity, compassion and empathy I've counseled clients seeking to understand general nutrition questions/concerns, maintain heart health, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, improve tummy troubles like GERD/acid reflux and IBS, navigate hormone health though perimenopause, recovery from disordered eating, dieting and negative body image. All while supporting clients in the body they're in.
Approach to care
Passionate about using a creative holistic approach to empower others to re-discover their inner wisdom, follow their intentions no matter how imperfect they are to others, be their own best healer and reclaim their inner peace, joy, energy, and peaceful relationship with food and body. I strive to create an inclusive, trauma-informed, supportive, safe, relaxing, and inspiring atmosphere, while providing holistic skills and easy to use tools. Incorporating diet-free, gentle nutrition; intuitive eating; somatic (body) techniques to assist with pain, nervous system regulation, anxiety, stress reduction, and overall well-being; and other natural health practices and holistic tools.

What to expect in your first session with Amy?

Provide a judgement free space for us to explore you as a "whole person", beyond just what you eat and don't eat and at what time of the day you do so. An opportunity for you to begin to share your story and what lead you to our session together. A chance for each of us to ask and answer questions, so I can best support and empower you to reach and live out your nutrition goals/intentions each day.
