Coye is a Registered Dietitian with 22+ years of experience in developing nutritional plans that patients are able to adopt into their daily lives to promote health and/or treat disease. Before joining Nourish, Coye worked in long-term acute care and rehab hospitals, most recently she has been in dialysis for the past decade. She has worked with patients with multiple co-morbidities such as cancer, diabetes and different heart conditions, etc. Through her vast experience, Coye has in-depth knowledge of common health issues and their implications on “diets”. Her ultimate goal is helping you achieve your nutrition goals and good health simultaneously.

The nutrition care process involves performing a full nutrition assessment; secondly, interpret/identify problems/diagnosis; thirdly guiding patient to set short and long-term goals at their own pace, providing recommendations and specific diet plans; and fourth, implementation of those plans, then monitoring and evaluating as the client progresses.

In your first session the focus is getting to know each other, why you are here and background information. I will conduct a full nutritional assessment, collecting as much information as possible in order to establish the problem(s) or diagnosis. It's important for me to understand how you approach food and eating, and your beliefs about nutrition. Understanding your current lifestyle is detrimental so we can work together in developing a plan that fit seamlessly into your life.
