Diksha is a Registered Dietitian who completed her dietetic internship from Wayne State University, Coordinated Program in Detroit, Michigan. She gained almost ten years of her experience working in a hospital/inpatient setting. During this tenure, she assessed nutritional needs and implemented enteral and parenteral nutrition plans for critically ill patients. She has also earned the Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach certification from the CDC recognized State of Wellness program. As a Lifestyle Coach, Diksha focuses on educating individuals about the role of nutrients in supporting their health and setting sustainable goals to improve their wellbeing. Her kids’ food allergies have always intrigued her to learn more about gut and immune function and led her to obtain a CLT (Certified Leap Therapist) certification. Additionally, Diksha applied her knowledge to practice in her own journey of achieving wellness victories, especially after being diagnosed with preeclampsia and gestational diabetes during her pregnancies. Diksha believes in prioritizing her client’s individual needs and goals. She takes the time to understand their unique circumstances and challenges to collaboratively work on finding a sustainable and practical nutrition plan. Outside of work, Diksha enjoys travelling. In fact, she has travelled most of Asia with her family, even running a 10K in the Angkor Wat area of Cambodia. She also possesses a Master’s degree in Textiles and Clothing. From adding color to fabrics in her life, she now enjoys helping clients add variety of color to their daily meals, as fuel. Diksha would love to be her clients’ guide and GPS to help them become the BEST version of themselves.
