About
Jenna
Jenna's dietetic career began later in life, and was driven by her own personal health struggles that ignited a profound appreciation for the power of nutrition. Since 2020, Jenna has made a significant impact with hundreds of patients. However, her true passion is supporting individuals with eating disorders, disordered or emotional eating, sports/fueling for movement, gastrointestinal conditions, gut health concerns, and autoimmune or inflammatory diseases. She finds great joy in guiding her patients through the process of unlearning what diet culture and the media has falsely taught them, empowering them to advocate for themselves within our challenging healthcare system.
Approach to care
Employing a non-diet approach infused with gentle nutrition principles, Jenna delivers evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle interventions. Throughout her sessions, she places high importance on nutrition education and the establishment of realistic goals. Recognizing the individuality of each patient, Jenna tailors her approach to meet them at their current stage, allowing the patient to steer the conversations and determine the focal points for each session.

What to expect in your first session with Jenna?

Understanding that initial sessions with a new healthcare provider can be a bit scary, Jenna begins by taking the time to uncover the small details that make each client truly unique. During the nutrition assessment, Jenna will carefully examine the evolution of dietary patterns and habits across your different life stages. This comprehensive approach creates a space where patients genuinely feel listened to and acknowledged, and can hopefully begin the process of trust between the patient and dietitian.
