About
Renee
Renée has been a registered dietitian for 23 years and is dedicated to helping the people she works with achieve their health goals. She has had the opportunity to develop and lead several programs during her career including the CDC diabetes prevention program, diabetes self-management education and employee wellness programs. Her areas of expertise include weight management, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure as well as pregnancy and women's health. These are but a few of the areas Renée has experience in. She is here to help you learn about nutrition, and through a collaborative process, meet your health and wellness goals.
Approach to care
Renée uses a client-centered approach to care incorporating evidence-based practice guidelines. It is her goal to provide a personalized plan for each client to collectively set goals that can become permanent lifestyle changes. Renée also integrates client preferences and readiness to change behaviors during her appointments. She focuses on small changes that help make it easy for clients to meet long-term goals that become lifelong practices.

What to expect in your first session with Renee?

During the first session, Renée really wants to get to know you and what your nutrition and health goals are. She will spend time discussing your medical history, your eating and lifestyle patterns and what areas that you feel like you’re doing well in and those you want help modifying. Together, you will set small goals to help set the stage for your health and wellness journey.
