Sara specializes in practical strategies for the average person trying to improve their health through food shopping, selection, preparation, preservation, and inspiring curiosity about food's central role in our lives and culture. She has taken a few career and life detours on the path to nutrition, and can relate to personal challenges of all kinds. Authentic and funny, she'll make you believe in yourself again if you've been struggling. Sara honors the uniqueness of each person and embraces both strengths and weaknesses of her clients, as she believes gentle and honest appraisal of obstacles without judgement is the best way forward. She'll be happy to share cooking and fad food failure stories with you as well (she has a lot!). Interests outside of nutrition are focused on the outdoors: gardening, camping, hiking, going to the beach, playing with other people's dogs, and helping out on her friend's farm.
