Sarah is a registered dietitian and has about 10 years of combined experience working in higher education and private practice. She has worked with diverse clientele and focuses on overall wellness, disordered eating and body image, and preventing and managing chronic conditions. She incorporates Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® principles because they are sustainable, gentle, and allow for individual and cultural tailoring. She also has extensive knowledge and experience working with Asian American and Pacific Islander and Hispanic/Latino communities.
Approach to care
Sarah uses a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach in her practice and assists clients with incorporating health-promoting behaviors to manage their conditions and improve their health. She encourages clients to build a positive relationship with their bodies, minds, and food.
What to expect in your first session with Sarah?
Sarah will address your concerns and briefly assess and review your diet and medical history to better understand what is important to you. She will use this information to tailor your visit and depending on your condition and needs, she may provide nutrition education and help you make personal action-oriented goals. At the end of the day, you are the “expert of you” and Sarah is here to be your advocate and listening ear.
