Sherry has worked in clinical, sports and eating disorders throughout her career as a Dietitian. Her interest in nutrition started in college which transformed into a true passion for teaching people how to have a healthy relationship with food. She graduated with a Dual Masters in Nutritional Sciences and Exercise Physiology and earned her Bachelors in Foods and Nutrition at San Diego State University. In the last 3 years, she has worked with eating disorder clients in all levels of treatment. Sherry is also Board Certified in Sports Dietetics and has experience working with collegiate and professional athletes helping them with their performance nutrition and fueling for their sport.

Throughout Sherry’s experiences she is constantly inspired by the openness and perseverance of her clients. She customizes her treatment based on each client’s needs and provides individualized consultations that focus on more than just nutrition information, but the support to help clients improve their relationship with food and body image.

In your initial session, Sherry will gain information about your nutritional history, medical concerns, and desired outcomes. This will allow Sherry to develop a comprehensive nutrition plan tailored to your needs. You will collaborate and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you to set realistic and achievable goals. Clients usually return for follow-up sessions to review what has been working, aspects for continued improvement and planning for the upcoming weeks.
