About
Vesna
Vesna is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care Education Specialist, who is experienced working with clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. She immigrated to the US from Macedonia and after many years living in Arizona, she moved to the coastal area of North Carolina. After experiencing a significant improvement in her daughter's health by making dietary changes and eliminating food triggers, she decided to pursue a career in dietetics. Her vision is to help individuals and families experience better health through improving their food choices and building sustainable lifestyle habits.
Approach to care
Vesna sees her role as an opportunity to join her client's health journey and be part of their health team. She is compassionate and likes to help set realistic health goals, tailored to individual needs and preferred pace of making necessary changes. Vesna has a way of helping people realize their great potential for change. Rather than focusing on what they lack she discovers and emphasizes strengths, teaching clients how to utilize them to improve their health.

What to expect in your first session with Vesna?

On your first session, you will be met with curiosity through relevant questions about you and the current stage of your health journey. During the first 60 minutes we will explore your health concerns, define your health goals and map the path to achievement. I am easy to talk to and may come across as if we've known each other for awhile. I will be honored to join on your journey to a better health!
