Yasemin became a Registered Dietitian in 2018. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Maryland and her dietetic internship was completed through UC San Diego Health. Yasemin worked as a clinical and outpatient dietitian at Rady Children's Hospital for 3 years before joining Nourish. Her specialties include pediatrics, diabetes, general health/nutrition, and emotional eating. Her passion is to help people of all ages understand how nutrition plays a vital role in their everyday life.

To help patients reach their unique health goals, Yasemin provides individualized evidence-based nutrition recommendations. During sessions, she strives to create a warm, supportive, and engaging environment for her clients. Yasemin advocates for Health at Every Size (HAES) and promotes intuitive eating when applicable. Her goal is to have patients feel comfortable and confident around nutrition. Yasemin has worked with many diagnoses over the years ranging from cardiovascular disease, ARFID, eating disorders, newly diagnosed diabetes, and people wanting general nutrition information.

Yasemin takes the time to understand what is important to you in regards to health. She is inquisitive to learn what goals you have with nutrition and seeing a dietitian. During the initial appointment, Yasemin likes to ask questions to understand each clients unique medical/ nutritional history, current patterns/routines, and what they hope to achieve. The goal of the initial appointment is to set a foundation around each patient's starting point with nutrition. Then at follow up sessions, Yasemin will start to provide nutrition counseling to help clients start their health journey.
