She also rejects diet culture and believes the risk of medical conditions can be reduced while also enjoying food. Ava enjoys working with adolescents and adults on a range of issues, with special focus on gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, heart disease, anti-inflammatory protocols, weight gain/loss, and intuitive eating. During her free time, Ava can often be found hiking, at the gym, spending time with her family/friends, reading, and participating in continuing education programs focused on the latest research in nutrition and dietetics.
