Christine has over 30 years of professional experience in dietetics, primarily in the areas of eating disorders, disordered eating, emotional eating, weight concerns, and all types of diabetes. She recently became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) and has also obtained a Certificate in Adult Weight Management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her passion lies in helping others make peace with food so they may finally enjoy a life free from food control, guilt, and shame.
Approach to care
Christine is committed to providing a supportive, judgment-free, and safe environment, meeting patients where they are in their health journey. She prides herself on applying a non-diet approach using intuitive eating principles. Christine likes to bring a sense of fun, laughter, and adventure into her sessions as she works on peeling back years of unsubstantiated nutrition “facts” and body size “ideals” fed to us by diet culture.
During your first session, Christine’s goal is to get to know you better. She'll ask many questions regarding your medical history, nutrition habits, and goals. Christine will drill down, asking deeper questions to help uncover behaviors and thoughts you may not discovered on your own. From there, a comprehensive plan tailored to your individual needs will be developed.
