Emily is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator currently residing in Fresno, California. Originally from a small town in Southern California, Emily moved to the Central Valley to attend California State University, Fresno where she double majored in nutrition and sociology. In 2016 Emily completed the Fresno State dietetic internship, and became a registered dietitian. She later obtained a master's degree in dietetics from Kansas State University.For seven years Emily worked as the registered dietitian at a federally qualified health center working with an underserved population. She provided nutrition education and counseling to individuals and groups with a heavy emphasis in diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. She is passionate about helping others develop a healthy relationship with food while incorporating the principles of intuitive eating and utilizing a health-at-every-size approach.Emily loves to spend time with family and friends, cooking, baking, and traveling!
