Jennifer is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition. She holds specialty certification in Renal Nutrition and specializes in this patient population. In addition to working with patients with kidney disease Jennifer enjoys working with patients with cardiac issues in addition to individuals just looking to incorporate healthier eating habits.
Approach to care
Jennifer believes that the foundation for health begins with good nutrition. There is a lot of outdated and inaccurate nutrition information on the internet. Information related to the renal diet should be specific to the patient. Individuals with kidney disease need to know what to eat to help maintain and preserve their kidney function. Jennifer feels that food is an important part of our culture so it’s important to her to help her clients continue to enjoy food no matter what their stage of kidney disease.
