Meet Marissa, a Registered Dietitian based in Nashville, Tennessee. Before starting at Nourish, Marissa worked in an outpatient medical weight loss clinic. She obtained her certification as a Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management, honing her skills in weight management, bariatrics, diabetes management and prevention, heart health, and fatty liver disease. She also has a deep passion for sports nutrition and experience working with collegiate athletes.

Marissa understands making the decision to work with a dietitian can be scary, and offers a compassionate and supportive approach. She believes in dispelling the notion of a "perfect diet" and loves guiding people towards a plan that feels liberating, simple, and sustainable. At your initial session with Marissa, she will get to know you by asking questions about your medical history, nutrition and lifestyle habits, and other important topics related to your health.
