About
Taylor
Taylor graduated from Texas State University where she earned a Bachelor in Science degree in Nutrition. She later went back to obtain her Master's Degree in Human Nutrition. Taylor's passion for food and people is what led her to the outpatient and private practice space. She loves meeting people where they are, walking alongside them on their health journey, and helping them navigate and discover what works best. Taylor lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and loves lifting weights, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants with friends, swimming, and going on walks while listening to her favorite podcasts!
Approach to care
Taylor does not believe there is a "one size fits all" when it comes to nutrition. She takes a unique approach with each client, ensuring that she is well-versed in their nutrition and health goals. Taylor also believes food is much more than just fuel, and that all foods can fit into a healthy diet. She aims to help clients work through any anxiety or fear that may be associated with food so they can experience the peace and freedom that comes with having a positive relationship with food. Taylor also aims to help her clients feel empowered and knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition so they feel confident in their decisions and choices.

What to expect in your first session with Taylor?

The first session is always a "get to know you" session where Taylor asks her clients questions about their medical history, medications/supplements, food allergies, food preferences, and diet history. Taylor also really likes to ask what food was like for the client when they were a child, as this can often correlate with behaviors and beliefs clients have around food as an adult. Walking through what a typical day looks like is also helpful for Taylor so she can get an idea of priorities, typical meals, stress levels, and activities. She also wants the client to feel comfortable asking her any questions they may have so they can determine if she will be a good fit for them
