About
Rebecca
Rebecca is a devoted Registered Dietitian who has been practicing in the field for 34 years. She currently works in higher education instructing different nutrition courses to undergraduate and graduate students. She has provided professional lectures, worked in acute and long-term facilities, counseled corporate clients, and worked within the nutrition software industry. Rebecca has also provided sports nutrition counseling to college athletes. Rebecca is a Certified Personal Trainer, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Group Exercise Instructor. Her commitment to both fields has made her knowledgeable and passionate about helping clients with their nutritional needs.
Approach to care
Rebecca strives to create a judgment-free and safe space for her clients to begin their care. Her approach is holistic, meaning she will understand the whole client, how they learn, what they care about, their medical information, and any specific needs. With this, she views the relationship as a partnership where she works with the client to solve problems and create realistic solutions. Goals will be set together and a plan to accomplish them in a timely manner will be jointly created. She is flexible with changes, and ensures clients are completely comfortable with their care.

What to expect in your first session with Rebecca?

In your first session with Rebecca, time will be spent getting to know each other to ensure the union is a good fit. She will go over all past and present medical information, and will conduct a thorough interview to understand your nutritional and health/wellness needs. This will also include reviewing your current nutritional practices, barriers, and where you have had successes or difficulties in the past meeting your goals. Finally, your current goals and expectations will be discussed and evaluated.
