Hello, I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor trained by the original Intuitive Eating experts Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch. I partner with my clients in discovering their intuitive eater within while creating a more comfortable, calm, and enjoyable relationship with food and their body.
Approach to care
My approach is one of a collaboration from the very beginning. You are the expert in you and I'm the nutrition expert. Together, we can partner on your journey.
I practice from a weight neutral and Health At Every Size-informed perspective, so our work together is about health promoting behaviors vs intentional weight loss.
I truly believe in Nourish's philosophy of care that does not focus on "unsustainable, restrictive diets, but rather a weight-neutral approach centered on relationship with food."
What to expect in your first session with Traci?
Our first session will cover your health history and eating habits, and mainly I am wanting to get to know you. I will ask several questions to gather more information about you and I welcome you to come to the session with questions or anything that would be helpful for us to discuss. We will also talk a little about follow up appointments and what that will look like moving forward.

Traci has been practicing as a registered dietitian for 20 years and she has public health, clinical, and teaching experience as well as consultant expertise in the health care industry and food service/hospitality management. Traci has worked in community nutrition programs and coordinated school-based nutrition and physical activity programs. She also was part of the multidisciplinary team at the area hospital outpatient clinics where she provided nutrition counseling for heart disease and diabetes. Traci currently manages a private practice and provides nutrition guidance to adults, children, adolescents, and families and specializes in disordered eating, body weight concerns, gastrointestinal issues, PCOS, heart disease and diabetes.
In addition to nutrition counseling, she has also taught nutrition at a local community college and provides menu, nutrition, and food safety guidance to the foodservice staff in area businesses.
Most recently, Traci completed the requirements to become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.
Throughout her career as a dietitian, Traci has developed a professional and personal philosophy about guiding people to a healthier life through food, nutrition, and balanced living. This philosophy views each and every person as uniquely capable of making a difference in their own life in their own unique way. She believes achieving a balanced relationship with food does not come from setting strict rules or guidelines with eating. Rather, it is achieved when one is able to coexist with food and mindfully recognize its role in providing nourishment and enjoyment. Traci believes her role as a dietitian is to assist people in finding this balanced approach to food, eating, and overall health and well-being.
