Erin is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist with over 13 years of experience in working with individuals from various backgrounds and experiences. After obtaining her Master’s Degree and completing her dietetic internship at Texas State University, she started her career in public health and later transitioned to working in an outpatient setting. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to help many individuals reach their goals by developing a healthy relationship with food and to fuel their bodies in a way that helps them feel their best.
Erin is a warm, friendly, and inclusive dietitian who uses a non-diet, evidence-based approach to nutrition care. She believes in an all-foods-fit model, knowing that it is possible to enjoy all foods in a way that feels good. As a busy mother of two, Erin knows that a nutrition plan should be adaptable to one's lifestyle, not the other way around. She will work closely with you to create a plan that feels doable and will set you up for long-term success.
Your initial session with Erin is collaborative and informative; she invites you to share your personal story in a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space. In addition to discussing the 'basics' such as medical history, eating patterns, sleep, and movement, she will also ask questions about your daily routine, including work, family, and social commitments, as these factors play a large role in shaping your nutrition choices. The session will wrap up with a clear plan and one to two small, actionable steps that you can implement immediately. These small steps will build confidence and momentum on your journey towards better health.
Erin enjoys spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, running, weight-lifting, watching football, and trying her hand at gardening.
