Do I need a referral or prior authorization?

Coverage requirements differ based on your insurance provider. For example, Medicare necessitates a referral and a diagnosis of either type 1 or type 2 diabetes or chronic kidney disease for coverage. Conversely, plans like BCBS HMO mandate a prior authorization. However, the majority of our clients, except for those on Medicare and BCBS HMO, typically do not require a referral or prior authorization. If it's determined that you need either a prior authorization or a referral from your healthcare provider, we will send you an email.
