Emily is a registered dietitian who enjoys the outpatient setting for the individualized, one-on-one attention it provides. She has a special interest in intuitive eating, HAES (health at every size), and eating disorders. She also has a background working in the hospital setting and has experience with cardiac, diabetic, kidney, gastrointestinal, and critical care patients. Her nutrition philosophy is health is individual and personal. She would love the opportunity to work with you and come up with a plan that suits your unique needs. In addition, as a HAES dietitian, she teaches others to take care of themselves without focusing on size and weight. This allows her to make deeper and more meaningful progress with clients.

She found her way to Austin, Texas after earning her undergraduate degree from Florida State University in Dietetics and her graduate degree from the University of Maine in Food Science and Human Nutrition. She looks forward to meeting with you and helping you along your nutrition journey.

This is a journey we work on together. We want you to feel seen and taken care of along the journey, and with our highly individualized process we’ll make sure you can see a clear path for your healing.

It’s important you see the progress you’re making and we know that sometimes it’s hard to see how far you’ve come. We have worked in regular touch points for reflection, celebration, and planning next steps so you always know where you’ve been, where you’re at and where you’re heading.

When you slow down and notice patterns, the recovery healing process can feel like it’s working. Mindfulness is a core tenant to our process and will play an integral role in your healing. To center ourselves and foster mindfulness, we incorporate brief practices in sessions that you can easily work into your life.

Outside of sessions with your dietitian can be when the journey might hit a rough patch. If you'd like extra support outside of your sessions, we have several options to help you continue your journey.
