Our approach to care

Nourish dietitians provide a behavioral health approach to nutritional care to help you reach your health goals through a combination of 1) food education and 2) nutrition therapy.
Our goal is not to reduce weight or other symptoms in the short term; rather, our goal is to deliver long-term health outcomes for our patients through sustainable behavior change. To create this change, Nourish focuses on addressing the root cause of the problem: our patients’ relationship with food.
Our personalized nutritional counseling drives behavior change and new, sustainable habits. Our non-diet, weight-inclusive approach helps our patients improve their relationship with food and stop dieting for good.
Our pillars of care
Evidence-based
We believe in providing quality care based on the latest clinical research. We track our quality of care deliberately to ensure we deliver improved health outcomes.
Sustainable
We are focused on creating sustainable behavior change for the long-term, not quick fixes.
Personalized
We understand that each person is unique and therefore requires individualized care that is tailored to their needs. No one-size-fits-all fad diets or cookie-cutter meal plans here!
Caring and collaborative
We approach care collaboratively with our patients and their care team. We practice empathetic counseling and create a safe, inclusive environment for patients to share, learn, and foster self-compassion.

How it works
1. Tell us about yourself
Let us know what your goals are and we’ll find the right dietitian for you.
2. Easy online visits
Use telehealth to meet with your registered dietitian wherever you are.
3. Use your insurance
All our dietitians are in-network. Relax and focus on your health.
What to expect

Before your visit
We'll ask you to complete a questionnaire to help us learn more about your medical history and how you're feeling presently. This will help your dietitian get up to speed quickly and create a meaningful first session.
First session
During this first session, you will spend time reviewing your history, how you're currently feeling, and any lifestyle goals you'd like to work towards. Your dietitian will provide resources and tools to help you improve until your next session.

Follow-up sessions
Our patients are searching for sustainable habits that last a lifetime. You will work closely with your dietitian to find small, immediate steps that create a healthy and happy lifestyle. Follow-up sessions should be booked during your session with a dietitian.
Respectful
We approach care understanding that the patient is the expert of their lived experience. We respect and accept all individuals, appreciating their unique perspective.
